Las Vegas Vacation - Day 1

This year for our family vacation we decided to stick a little closer to home and go to Las Vegas! We left for our vacation on Saturday, July 11. Day one of our vacation mostly consisted of driving. Unfortunately, a lot of the pictures we took of Day one (all but the condo pics) were on our cell phones, so they are all pretty bad quality. Sorry!

On our way to Las Vegas we stopped in St. George and met Josh's Grandpa for lunch. It had been more than a year since we had seen him last so we were glad we got to stop and see him for a bit!

We arrived in Las Vegas that afternoon and checked into our condo at Club de Soleil. We got a really good deal on the condo, and it ended up being a really nice place to stay.

Not only did we get a good deal on the condo, but we had coupons or certificates for nearly every restaurant we ate at and many of the activities we did, so our vacation was a lot less expensive. So if you are going on vacation, look for coupons!! After we checked into our condo we went out to dinner at the coolest restaurant called Hash House a Go Go. It's kind of one of those places that serves breakfast all day, but it had the coolest atmosphere! Apparently a lot of famous people eat there.

It was cracking me up because the food (including the kids' meals) were served on these gigantic square plates. I just had to take a shot of Parker and Isaac behind their big plates of food (sorry, more bad cell phone pics). That waffle seriously lasted Parker for 4 meals (LOL):

And Josh had to get a pic of me. Those were the best crab cakes I've ever had! YUM!

Josh's salad:
For dessert we all shared a Chocolate Snickers Bread Pudding. OMGosh, it was SO good!

After dinner it was pretty late, so we headed back to the condo for the night. It was a fun start to our vacation, with tons more fun to come! :)

I had to share one more pic of Bryce. We accidentally left his shoes and foot braces at home. We ended up buying him some crocs to wear while we were there, but he would NOT keep them on. Needless to say, his feet were constantly BLACK from the condo floor (I know, EW!) and just from riding around in his stroller. I snapped this shot of him looking at his black foot that first day. LOL! Those feet sure ended up with lots of baths that week!
