Day two of our vacation was a Sunday, so we decided to keep it low key. In the morning after breakfast we went out for our first swim in the resort's pool. It was a really nice pool and usually not too busy. Bryce had fun floating around in his little tube and it sure made it easier for us to watch all three kids!
After we got done at the pool, we went up to the condo and had some lunch. After that went to see the Las Vegas Temple. It was really neat to see this different side of Las Vegas and to feel the peacefulness and spirit of the temple. We got out and took a walk around the temple grounds. It was HOT, so we didn't stay long, but it was a pretty walk.
Parker was pretty grumpy (and tired) and didn't want to do anything. Had to capture this picture of hiss mood. : )
We let him take this picture of us with the camera to cheer him up:

After the temple, we went to the Leid Discovery Children's Museum. This was such a cool place! They had so many fun exhibits and hands-on stuff for the kids (and adults!) to do. I took SOO many pictures at this place, so excuse the overload! :)
This is a picture of Josh showing the kids where he used to live (Hawaii).
One of the exhibits at the museum was dedicated to all things GROSS. It basically had scientific explanations for a bunch of gross things like burps, snot, farts, etc. Yeah, nice.
In this picture the boys had to make the guy drink soda until he burped.

This was a fun musical instrument. You had to smack the paddle down on the pipes. It was actaully pretty hard to do. Josh did pretty well with it, but it was hard for the kiddos.
Bryce & Parker crawling through the tunnels of that same instrument:
This section had water toys. The boys had lots of fun playing in the water:
Parker could have played with this one for hours. You take the little plates and use them to make dams of sorts to create little rivers. It was pretty cool.
This was a fun one - making giant bubbles:
The boys pretending to fly this pretend airplane.
This was a little grocery store where you could pretend to shop for groceries and pay for them at little registers. Really cool, but it was super busy when we went so the kids didn't really do much here:
Giant Operation game:
This was a hurricane simulator. The wind inside the tunnel blew as hard as it would in a real hurricane. Really cool! Brycey didn't end up doing well with this one though because of his sensory issues. :( Poor guy. We should have known.
Josh always wanted to try one of these Jamaican music things. Finally got to try it!
This one made a giagantic spark if you pedaled hard enough.
Josh was the only one who could get it going fast enough!
Parker and Josh LOVED this spinning disk one.
They played with it forever. : )

Wow! What a fun place. After that we were starving, so we splurged and went to this cool Sushi place not far from our condo. YUM! It was so much fun, and nice because they had regular Chinese food for the kids. The kids will eat sushi, but they can take it or leave it, so it's cheaper just to buy them other food. After dinner we went back to the condo and went to bed! FUN day!
