After we finished walking through Caesar's Palace, we headed over to The Mirage to see the dolphin habitat. A while back, Parker came up to me and said with all sincerity, "Mom. I really want to see a real live dolphin someday." I kept thinking we'd have to take him to Sea World, but then I remembered Mirage's dolphin habitat! I was so excited that we could actually take him to see some! We made it the "must-do" of our vacation. He was SO excited and just loved it! When we were at the habitat, we got really lucky and got a good spot. One of the dolphins came right up to where we were standing to watch. We got to see it do all of its tricks close up. It was so fun! We also got to go down underground where we could watch them swimming in their tank. They also had some white lions and tigers. They were okay, but nothing spectacular.
Parker got a little stuffed dolphin for his souvenir.

After the dolphin habitat, we wanted to stick around so we could see the pirate show at Treasure Island which didn't start until later. So we looked around for a place to eat close by. We ended up at a little coffee shop inside Treasure Island. It was pricey, but the food was really good! After dinner we hurried outside so we could watch the show. The pirate show was the thing Isaac was most excited to see. I was a little disappointed in it this time. It was a GREAT show and fun to watch, but I remember it being a little more family-friendly, and this time there were a lot of scantily-dressed girls. Typical Vegas I guess.
At this point in the show, the ship got bombed and there was a big explosion. We were right up front and WOW was that a lot of heat coming off that thing! The kids FREAKED out, Bryce started crying, and this poor lady in front of us totally freaked out. It WAS a little scary!
After the pirate show we went back inside Treasure Island so Isaac could get a pirate souvenir. We started walking back to our van. We stopped in front of Mirage to see their Volcano "erupt". That was pretty cool!
