In May, my parents planned a trip to Lake Powell and invited us and all of my siblings. It ended up being on the weekend of Josh's birthday, but he had been wanting to go to Lake Powell, so he was okay with that. :) All of my siblings and their families were able to come too, so it ended up being a little family reunion, which was nice.
We got there super late the first night since we had to leave after kids got out of school. We set up our tent in the dark and pretty much went to bed. The next morning Isaac and Parker went out on the boats with Grandma and Granpa, so Josh and I took Bryce and Quinn on a little walk around the area we were camping. The water was very low at the Lake.
There were lots of shells to be found!

Later, we packed a lunch and all got in the boats.
We went to a different area where we could play in the water and the guys could go out and
water ski. All the cousins had lots of fun playing! Josh, Jesse, Dason, and Tim went water skiing and had fun until Josh ended up injuring his bad knee. :( Not a fun thing to have happen when you are out
camping! He ended up hobbling around all weekend.
We came back to camp and made dinner and later the kids roasted marshmallows,
or as Quinn said, "fired" marshmallows. :)
