Beginning of May 2014

Bryce's class got to participate in a special olympics/field day.

We took a drive over to Payson to see the progress on the new temple.

Bryce and Parker had a Pinewood Derby for cub scouts.

And Parker's.  I guess they strapped the batteries on for added weight.

Isaac and Quinn ready to go watch the derby

They always have the cutest pack nights.  This time they dressed
in disguises.  Moustaches, sunglasses and hats.  So cute!

It was almost Josh's birthday, but we were going on a trip, so
we had him open up one birthday present before we went
( new swim shorts and sandals that he would need).

And a pretty sunset

Easter 2014

To start, just a cute thing about Quinn.  For some reason he decided that he loves green apples!
Every time we go to the grocery store, he asked to get green apples.

The night before Easter, we colored our Easter eggs. :)

Excited Bryce:

And excited Quinn:

We tried a marble dye kit along with the regular kind.

I think these were mine:

Easter morning, we got up before church and found
our Easter baskets.

After church we had an Easter egg hunt in the yard:

Wow, our chickens are getting festive. ;)

Oh, and we picked some of our fresh asparagus!

For our Easter dinner we had crab legs and artichokes.

There's Isaac with one of his eggs!

And not Easter related, but here is Quinn with one of his cute
drawings of a car.

Spring Break 2014: Part Three - Temple Square

For our next Spring Break activity, we rode the train up to Temple Square with Josh's parents who were visiting.

Waiting for the train:

Quinn loves riding the train!

April is my favorite favorite time to visit Temple Square because
the flowers are so beautiful.  We walked around the temple grounds
and also went to see the Joseph Smith movie.

Afterward we went and got an ice cream cone treat.
They had an old childhood favorite: black licorice flavor!
Sounds weird, but it is SO good!

And a pretty sunset back at home. :)
