Park City Trip

Every summer (for the last few years) my mom and I take a weekend and go to Park City
together.  We get the school shopping for the boys done and just have fun together.  I don't know why we didn't get any pictures of each other, and none of the pics I did get are very good, but it's fun to remember what we did. :)  This year our usual hotel was booked, but we ended up getting a little condo-type room that was even cheaper, so we were happy.

The first night we got there we went to the grocery store to get some water bottles and some things to eat since we had a little kitchen in our room.  We went to Whole Foods and got a sampling of yummy foods to eat for our dinner like sushi, spring rolls, and cheese and fruit.  We also rented a movie from Red Box to watch on the DVD player we had in our room.

The next day we shopped, shopped, shopped.  For lunch we went to our favorite Greek restaurant, Nick's Greek Cafe.  We first went there last year, and they had the best gyros, so we had to go back this year.  Pictures don't do it justice of course.

One of the nights we went to Park City Main street to walk around and look through the different shops.   It was busy, so we ended up in a parking lot up on the hill.  We got to see a beautiful view of the sunset and the city below!

Our last night we decided to try the Park City Ghost Tour just for fun. :)  It was pretty much
a walking tour where you walked around Main Street and the guide told a bunch of ghost
stories about houses that were supposedly haunted.  It was fun and something different to do.
These are some of the haunted houses:

Lunch before we came home.  Another good one the Blue Iguana.  I had shrimp nachos - yum!
