November 2011

In November, Bryce had his 5th set of ear tubes placed!  Luckily, the last set of tubes lasted more than two years, but as soon as they fell out his hearing got really bad so we had to have them replaced again.  It sure helped!  Here is a pic of Bryce in pre-op. :)

This is the quilt I made in my Block-of-the-month group.  Since we do just a block a month, it took a year to make.  It's a queen sized quilt and I just love how it turned out!

We had Thankgiving dinner at our house again this year, but we celebrated with Josh's side of the family this year.  Josh's parents and his grandpa and his wife came up from St. George and his brother Brandon and family had just recently moved back to Utah from California so we were excited that they were able to come too.  Josh's sister and her family also came so we had the whole family except for his younger brother!

Josh did another pit turkey this year!

 Everyone ready to eat:

The kids sure had fun playing with all their cousins.  Especially Brandon's kids
who they hadn't seen for so long!

I JUST missed a cute picture of little Journey playing piano with Uncle Josh and Grandma. :)

This year we did a Thanksgiving Tree.  We had everyone write things
they were thankful for on the leaves and hang them on the tree.  It turned out really neat.
I think we'll be doing this idea again!

Journey playing with Baby Quinn:

Everyone hanging out.  It was nice to have everyone all together!

The day after Thanksgiving we did some fun activities together.  We went to the movies.  Grandma
and Grandpa took the kids to see Dolphin Tale and the rest of us saw The Three Musketeers.  We also went to the Christmas expo at the fair grounds.  That night there was a light parade.  It was bitter bitter cold, so we didn't stay very long, but it was fun to see while we were there!  Isaac had fun taking pictures:

Just a cute one of Quinn - 7 months old!
