Quinn's 2nd Birthday

Quinn turned two on April 5th!  He was excited to wake up and open his birthday presents.

His favorite gift was a train set.  He loves trains!

Grandma Bell got him a ride on dump truck.  He loved it!

He also got a scooter.  It didn't take him long to figure out how to ride it! :)
Quinn loves anything with wheels.

For his birthday, Isaac and Parker wanted to take him to Build-a-Bear.
He picked out a puppy to build, then he got to give him a bath.

Quinn loves balloons and always spots them whenever we go to a store.  He always finds the escapee balloons that are up on the store ceilings.  So we definitely had to get him some balloons for his birthday!

Wherever we go, Quinn always spots the yellow cars.  "There's a yellow car!"  He get's so excited whenever he finds one.  So for his birthday I made him a yellow car cake. :)

He had lots of fun on his 2nd birthday.  He was definitely ready for bed when the time came. :)

Easter & Spring Break 2013

The day before Easter we colored Easter eggs!

Then Easter morning we woke up and found our Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny had hidden.

We got ready, and travelled down to spend Easter with my family.  Easter afternoon, we went to Sand Creek and had a picnic with dutch oven food that Dason and Mom made and side dishes that we all contributed.  It was such a pretty spot!

The kids had lots of fun playing in the sand

After dinner we had a little Easter egg hunt.  Quinn got into finding those eggs:

Bryce had fun too

After dinner, everyone headed home and we headed to Green River to begin our Spring Break trip.  On the way through Capitol Reef, we made a stop to see the Goosenecks.  We need to come back and spend some time in Captiol Reef.  I grew up down there and went a lot, but it's been a long time!

We arrived in Green River and spent the night.  The next morning we were up in the morning to go to Goblin Valley.  The kids had been begging to come back ever since our trip a couple of years ago.  We had lots of fun hiking around and playing.

The boys found an Easter egg that someone had left behind.

Back at the hotel playing Blokus.

On our way home the next morning we explored around Green River a bit and found this cool river bank where the kids had fun throwing sticks and rocks in the river and playing with the sand and rocks.  We ate lunch at a little picnic ground there and then went home!
